Cordillera Blanca Experience — Peru.
Some mountains you admire from below. These, you climb into.
This is high-altitude gravel beneath Huascarán's glaciers — Peru's Cordillera Blanca, the highest tropical mountain range on Earth. Steep passes, thin air, and switchbacks that climb straight into the clouds, with turquoise lakes, ancient ruins, and some of the best mountain scenery on two wheels waiting at every turn. The tour starts and finishes in Huaraz.
The altitude will humble you — you'll top out around 5,000 meters, riding beneath a skyline of glaciated 6,000-meter peaks the whole way. This is riding stripped down to its rawest form: just you, the climb, and views that don't let up.
This is the Peru that doesn't make it onto postcards. The route runs through real indigenous communities, far off the beaten path, where daily life hasn't been arranged for visitors.
It's not an easy ride. Nobody's holding your hand through this one.
The tour runs June 19–26. Ready to ride the roof of Peru?
