Itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrival in Calafate, Argentina
Touch down at Comandante Armando Tola International Airport, where our CLIPPED crew will be waiting. We’ll transfer to the serene Kau Yatún Hotel Boutique and get your bike ready for the adventure ahead.
In the evening, we’ll gather for our Welcome Dinner, enjoy the best of Argentine cuisine, and raise our first toast to Patagonia.
Hotel: Kau Yatún Hotel Boutique
Day 2 – Perito Moreno Glacier Ride
We start with a bang.
Stage 1 takes us to the iconic Perito Moreno Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the few glaciers in the world that is still advancing. We’ll ride out through classic Patagonian landscapes, refuel with the glacier as our backdrop, and soak in a first stage you won’t forget.
Hotel: Kau Yatún Hotel Boutique
Day 3 – Lago Argentino & Glacier Navigation – Crossing into Chile
Stage 2 dives deeper into Los Glaciares National Park. After a powerful ride, we’ll board a boat and sail across Lago Argentino, surrounded by towering walls of ice and floating blue giants. It’s a day for awe, silence, and perspective.
After our navigation, we’ll transfer to Cerro Castillo, Chile—you’ll be tired enough to nap the whole way. Don’t forget your passport: today we cross the border into Chilean Patagonia.
Hotel: Ovejero Patagónico
Day 4 – First Ride in Chile – Torres del Paine Warm-Up
Our first taste of Torres del Paine.
This loop takes us through the famous Patagonian pampa, where the horizon feels endless and the wind starts to show its character. Chances are this will be your first real battle with the Patagonian gusts—beautiful, wild, and humbling.
Hotel: Ovejero Patagónico
Day 5 – Queen Stage – Torres del Paine in Full Glory
Marble towers, hanging glaciers, emerald lagoons—this stage has everything.
Today we ride deep into Torres del Paine National Park, surrounded by some of the most dramatic scenery on the planet. It’s big, it’s wild, and it’s going to be one of the most beautiful rides of your life. Guaranteed.
Hotel: Hotel del Paine
Day 6 – Rest Day – Your Choice: Recover or Hike
With CLIPPED, rest is also your choice.
You can spend the day unwinding by the Río Serrano, watching the mountains change color with the light, or you can keep the adventure going with a long hike to the base of the Torres. It’s a 4–5 hour hike that will take your breath away—literally and figuratively.
Hotel: Hotel del Paine
Day 7 – The End of the World Ride – Puerto Natales
Stage 6 takes us as far south as this adventure goes.
We’ll ride towards Puerto Natales, a town at the edge of the continent, where fjords and mountains meet the sea. This is our “Fin del Mundo” moment—a final look south before we start our journey home.
That night, we’ll celebrate our epic week with a Farewell Dinner, sharing stories, toasting new friendships, and already planning the next adventure.
Hotel: Weskar Lodge
Day 8 – Departure – Back to El Calafate
We’ll transfer back to El Calafate, Argentina, where our team will make sure your bike is packed and your transfer—either to the airport or to your next Patagonian stop—runs smoothly.
The adventure ends here, but Patagonia never really leaves you.

What weather can I expect during the tour?
Ecuador is known as the country of eternal spring. In that sense, the weather is unpredictable, it can be sunny and warm one day and cloudy and rainy the next. Despite this, you can expect temperatures not less than 50 degrees nor more than 80.
At what height will the tour take place?
The average elevation at which we will ride most of the time is 5,900 feet; however, the last stage reaches 9,000 feet above sea level.
Can height affect me?
CLIPPED has developed the tour with a progressive increase in height and with rest days with the aim that cyclists adapt to the height in the best way; however, each person reacts to altitude differently. We have support vehicles that monitor cyclists permanently and can provide support if necessary.
Should I bring food for the route?
CLIPPED will provide you with everything you need (gels, bars, isotonic drinks, etc.). Your only concern should be ride and enjoy.
Does the cost of the tour include bicycle rental?
The tour cost does not include bicycle rental; however, this is a unique adventure and we recommend that you experience it alongside the apple of your eye. CLIPPED will take care of assembling and disassembling it at no additional cost. If you wish to rent a bicycle, please contact us.
After the tour I want to explore Ecuador. Where can I store my bike?
CLIPPED can store your bike at no cost. Get in touch with us to coordinate the details.
I want to bring a companion on the tour; however, they won't be cycling. Can I do that?
For an additional price you can bring a companion; however, it is subject to the availability of the hotels.
I would like to explore Ecuador after the tour. Any recommendation?
Taking advantage of your trip to explore other places in Ecuador is an excellent idea. We particularly recommend visiting the Galapagos Islands (a World Heritage Site). To organize your trip throughout Ecuador, please contact Rebecca Adventure Travel, our partner agency. They will be able to provide you with the best options tailored to your needs.
